Welcome to the wedding section of our website. We put these pages together a few years ago while we were preparing to get married. They were useful at the time for keeping our friends and family up-to-date with our plans and preparations, particularly by way of our Wedding Blog.

These days we're happily married and lifing in Australia, but this site still gets a lot of hits from people looking for wedding information, so we're leaving these pages up here (we don't like 404s).

When did you get married?
We got married on Saturday, 21 December 2002.

Where did you get married?
We got married in the lovely town of Yarm, right up there in the North-East of England. Watch out: there be dragons!

Are there ACTUALLY dragons in Yarm?
No. There is a castle though.

Who were the best man and bridesmaids?
The groom's brother stepped into the role of best man with the bride's sister by his side. The groom's sister was also a bridesmaid!

Our ushers for the day were Messers Allen, Casey, Dean, Jenkins and Mayes. We thank them all for agreeing to help us out on our big day.
